Courses will be held at the Environmental Molecular Science Laboratory on the PNNL campus in Richland, one of the "Tri-Cities". Richland is approximately a four-hour drive from Seattle. Course participants may fly into Seattle and drive over or utilize the Tri-Cities airport to fly into Richland.

- Follow signs from the airport to I-5 north and get on I-5 North.
- Take the I-90 east exit towards Bellevue/Spokane.
- Traveling over Snoqualmie Pass, the I-90 leg is approximately 110 miles.
- Just past Ellensburg, take the I-82 E/US-97 S exit, number 110, towards Yakima.
- Merge onto I-82 E, follow the interstate through Yakima. Along the way you'll pass Sunnyside and Prosser. The I-82 leg is approximately 100 miles.
- Take the I-182 E/US-12 E exit, exit number 102, towards Richland/Pasco.
- Merge onto I-182 E.
- Take the WA-240 W exit, exit number 4, towards Wellsian Way/Vantage.
- Merge onto WA-240 W.
- WA-240 W becomes Bypass Highway.
- The Bypass Highway becomes Stevens Drive. Continue on Stevens Drive, past an industrial area with warehouses on the left and office buildings on the right. Shortly after the speed limit changes to 55 mph, there is a KinderCare and a row of trees along the right side of the road.
- Turn right onto Horn Rapids Road
- Turn right at the parking lot entrance.
